Whether you want to collect beach glass or watch the sunset, Kolovare Beach is a spot you might want to check out, located 1 mi (1.7 km) from central Zadar. Enjoy the sunset by the shore at Borik Beach, Beach Puntamika, and Narrow Beach.
If you're planning a bit of sightseeing head to Forum— just one of the monuments in Zadar Old Town. Why not take a stroll along the beaches and watch the sunset while you're here?
Wander along the seafront promenade to hear the haunting melodies of the Sea Organ. Marvel at the Sun Salutation's mesmerizing light show before exploring Roman ruins and medieval churches.
At first, the old town of Zadar was disappointing after coming from more polished places like Dubrovnik. Zadar is not a postcard-pretty outdoor museum, it is a real neighborhood. I strongly recommend scheduling a walking tour with a local guide.

Zadar is a charming city, with allot of potential, we had a lovely few days exploring the old city, and had a trip to Nin with its medicinal mud, salt pools and fortified island, a short bus trip away.
