It was our first time in Carmel and we were pleasantly surprised at the area with all of its roundabouts and the artsy atmosphere. This could be a destination for future.

Excellent
Carmel is a very upscale area with a lot of dining and shopping. It is a very safe area that it well maintained. Just be ready for the traffic circles. If you are not use to them it can be confusing being new to the area.

Good
If you like new development where everything is designed around driving, Carmel is very nice. Everything is new, clean and cool looking. However, it lacks the authenticity of a neighborhood, including any aspect of walkability.

Appreciate the ability to enjoy walking around the center of everything
"This hotel served me well since I flew in and stayed overnight and flew out the next day. They have a shuttle that was on time and staff was real friendly. "
"Breakfast and nightly dinner included. The 3 free nightly adult drinks were also a plus. Room was clean and quiet. Property was clean and kept nice. The cost for our 4 night stay was a little pricey but overall everything was good and I would stay here again. "
"Excellent service, they were having construction on the parking garage, but it didn’t interrupt our stay at all. At dinner at the bar area and enjoyed our stay. Every employee was nice and courteous!"
"Loved the vibe of this hotel. Just stayed one night after a long commute and before another but beds were super comfy, shower was an absolute joy and mini bar was reasonably priced."
