"Booked a room, no email 24hrs before with information. Turned up with the manager, who was luckily on site, not knowing a single thing about us arriving. Got put in a room not big enough for us. Owner claimed we hadnt booked the right room, which wasnt true. The manger was lovely and helpful but the owner wasnt.
Room TV was smashed so couldnt be used.
This is more like a hostel, bathrooms arent private but shared.
Wouldn't recommend and definitely wont be returning. Not worth the money."
"Staff are diamonds! Everyone had been very helpful, polite - giving such a welcoming vibe
If not for the distance from the airport I would give it a higher score - more ideal for those who drive -as buses and train takes time and might have difficulty travelling with luggages
Long wait for Uber - taxis available but perhaps minimum wait of 15-20 mins
Plan your trip well 😉"
"We used the hotel as a base and used the close by ferrytoll park and ride to get in to Edinburgh, about a 30-40 bus ride. The hotel was clean and had everything we needed. We didn't eat hear so can't comment on that but I would recommend ear plugs as the walls are a wee bit thin. "

"Room was not ready on arrival, staff member was disinterested.
Bedroom window was damaged, taped together, and did not open.
Stains on bedroom carpet. Bathroom mirror looked clean, but once steamed up the words " clean me please" were visible."

"Very happy with my stay. The location was brilliant for where I need to be during my business stay. Room was spacious and clean and dinner/breakfast was a very good quality and provided in a timely fashion. Views from the hotel definitely added to the stay and who doesn't want a welcome cookie! IF I had to be critical of anything, I didn't get on with the pillows provided but I appreciate we are all different!"
"Lovely breakfast, comfortable rooms and fab helpful staff.
We ate in the restauarant one evening too, good food, reasonably priced too.
The only downside was noise. We were above the function room area, so a wedding disco kept us awake til it stopped at midnight. Not great soundproofing in the rooms, but this was the only downside.
Some complimenatary parking spaces on a first come first served basis, but a car park backs onto the hotel which isn't expensive.
Hospitality tray is replenished daily, so this helps when staying more than a night. Not all hotels do this! Very clean and comfortable rooms and bathrooms.
Walking distance to everything in town was good too. "
"On arrival we were greeted by a lovely receptionist who was very friendly and informed us of everything about the hotel. We had a lovely garden room which had a lovely view of the hotel gardens. The room was very spacious and had everything you required eg. Tea and coffee machine facilities, iron and ironing board, toiletries and plenty of storage. The bar had a great selection of drinks. The breakfast facilities were excellent they had a buffet for cereals, pastures, toast and fruit. Hot breakfast was served by staff. The staff in all areas of the hotel were all very pleasant and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them. I would certainly recommend a stay at this hotel. "
