The town was very nostalgic with beautifully restored buildings. There is even a working Tran depot! The candy shop on the courthouse square was so much fun! The restaurant called Sara's on the Square had amazing food and service!! Loved the zoo too

I would recommend Krootz Brewing Company and The Rib Crib as definite places for food and drinks. Food and service were excellent at both places.

We had a good time, lots of eating places and nice shopping downtown.
"The hampton inn was excellent in all respects the room was clean. The bathroom was clean. The only drawback I had was gettin to it. It's really tucked away behind a ton of construction. But I guess that's to be expectedid they are. Improving the entire freeway system in that area."
"This was a pleasant surprise and a very good value. The Inn has be recently renovated painted etc rooms are spartan but have refrigerator microwaves and very comfortable pillows
All in all not luxurious but ver clean comfortable and value priced "
"The room was big and spacious. The staff were friendly and courteous and very helpful. My only thing was the breakfast options i think it was continental but there was not much there. There was no syrup and butter for the waffles, toast or bagles. I wish that there was a variety of breakfast, for example like scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, or fresh fruit. Or even breakfast sandwiches to warm up"

"Stayed 1 night with my daughter and her friend. Friendly staff, quick check in, clean, beds were very comfortable, quiet, and spacious. We enjoyed the breakfast also…waffle maker, bagels, sausage, quiesh, oatmeal, cereals, coffee, etc!! Only 1 complaint was the smell of the room when we first walked in (not sure if was the previous guests or not) but we were able to open the window and air it out and was fine after that. I would def stay again! "
