Had the best breakfast at Red Horse Diner west of town. If you are into Route 66 and the old time gas stations this is an amazing place so much nostalgia! Eggs Benedict was so good, the coffee too!

Ellensburge is a small quaint college town with great little shops and really good restaurants! It's close to skiing, sledding, camping and floating and fishing the Yakima river!

It's the kind of place to go if you like small isolated towns and cold and snow. I don't, but many people do.

Quiet, small town for the area we were in. Didn't have much time to explore and locals were pretty friendly.

Friendly people, no transients standing on corners, no tents, everyone is smiling.
"For the price, the place was great. Friendly staff, clean and quiet room and a nice shower. Breakfast wasn't that good, but again, for the price, you wouldn't expect more. "
"My stay was good. Extend the continental breakfast until 10:00 AM. Get rid of the thick carpet in the hallway, it’s too hard to drag wheeled luggage across. "
