"A grand old building in an excellent location, close to the railway station and Malioboro Street. And with a swimming pool, perfect for hot afternoons. The rooms were adequate but good value for the price I was paying for. However I did find some dirt on my pillow but I brushed it off. Also Western travellers should be warned that the are traditional Indonesian style bathrooms in the rooms. At least in my room, so a squat toilet with no toilet paper, or flush, and a cold shower. "Everything was perfect about this hotel. The service was excellent and the hotel is very smooth and calming with its atmospheric music in the corridors while you sleep in your room.
