"Fifth time I've stayed here, some before the Sonesta name change. My room was very clean and the location is perfect for my needs. It's basically in the parking lot of the Woodland mall. Right on 28th, which is a main line through Kentwood and southern Grand Rapids. TONS of restaurants within walking distance. Front desk was pleasant at check in and out. "

"Tru is an excellent concept if you don't need much from a hotel room. The minimalist decor and modular furniture make this hotel ideal for when you are just passing through. Don't expect common inclusions like an ice bucket or mini soaps. The noise from the nearby main road can be loud at times, but the curtains do a good job of blocking light. Parking is ample and the staff is friendly. The included breakfast is simple, but is a great way to start the day and gets you fueled up to head out."
