"Truly a phenomenal stay! I am usually not one to take the time to write reviews but the Oltrarno Splendid really was fantastic and deserves every bit of praise. Everything is so charming and thoughtfully laid out. Our room also had the most incredible vintage toile wallpaper-- really one of a kind. The breakfast was also amazing! Laura makes the most wonderful latte and was so kind and hospitable. They also have fruit, pastries, coffee, tea, etc out at all hours for guests which made for a really nice mid-day treat. Looking forward to being back in Florence some day and hopefully having the chance to stay in this hotel again!"

"My family of 4 (2 adults, 2 kids) stayed at this beautiful property. It is located out of the main hustle of the historical center so is quiet at night, but it is only a few minutes walk to so many wonderful places. We never got a taxi and were able to walk to all the places we wanted to see. The restaurants nearby are amazing. We enjoyed eating gelato in the main piazza or in the hotel's excellently maintained garden, and felt perfectly safe in this area. We all enjoyed the included breakfast options. Our room was cleaned daily by a wonderful staff. The windows and doors closed properly allowing our room AC to maintain a comfortable temperature. I would certainly stay here again!"

"The staff and accommodations are excellent! Very close to the heart of all that is Florence (nothing farther than 10-15 mins walk) with lovely small cafes and trattorias right outside the front door. The room was clean and very spacious. We will definitely be returning to this place on our next visit to magical Florence! A big thank-you to Roxy and Fredrica who made us feel right at home and were there for any needs or questions we had! Excellent service!"

"Overall great experience and location, walkable to most main attractions! Some challenges with understanding which mode of communication to use with host, particularly during check in time (Expedia site had a platform, the host had another platform advertised (?octa-something), though WhatsApp also used in the days prior to the trip). Once this was sorted out (WhatsApp!), Barbara was great with communication!"

"Really beautiful property and wonderful room. Hotel is immaculately clean and we thought the hotel had been renovated to a beautiful finish. We let the hotel know we were staying for our 10 year anniversary, and a bottle of Prosecco was left in our room with a note, which was extremely kind. A great location to stay in, just across the river. Passcode is provided for front door so can come and go as please. Have booked to stay in again in October!"
