I’ve had my share of generic business hotel stays, but Rye 115 was something else entirely. At first glance, it was an older guesthouse with beautiful, spacious rooms, bathrooms separate from room and plenty of shared rooms and dining room for socializing with other travelers. Loved staying in such a historic and colorful harbor area. Easy walking to Hop On bus stop, canal boat tours, restaurants and walking to a street food area. A little busy due to its location to attractions, but overall the hotel is in a very enjoyable area. For those who expect A/C in their room, the Hotel does not have it, but the room had an electric fan and the weather was cool at night, so I was very comfortable.

Let's be clear about this hotel... it is right across the street from the airport and a 4 minute walk. The reason we booked it for our last night was our 6:30am flight out of Denmark. They also have a grab-n-go breakfast starting at 3am for those super early flights. They have auto-checkin through a machine that scans your information and spits out your room key such that I didn't even meet any staff. The room itself was basic but clean. Would not stay here for seeing Copenhagen in general if...
A large complex, well maintained and very friendly staff. They charged me for parking but reversed it when I reminded them it was included in the booking.
The pool is large and impressive, appreciated the extensive fitness facilities and sauna, though access was a bit confusing (from upstairs to downstairs and upstairs again).

Very cute hotel. Rooms are small, but very clean and had everything we needed. We had a great balcony to have breakfast. Breakfast and coffee in our room was very nice and relaxing. Location is perfect and close to everything, however…. With that said Copenhagen can be very noisy at night. Tivoli and bars are very close to the hotel and there are no fans or air conditioning in the hotel. So with the windows open you can feel as if you are part of the party. My only suggestion is that the rooms have more lighting. It was very dark and shadowy even with all the lights on.
Other than that small quibble, the evening wine hour, breakfast, and amazingly wonderful hotel and restaurant staff were the best!
Amazing hotel! Bikeable, walkable, shopping, restaurants, bike rental, gym and free delicious breakfast every day. Fitness room is tiny but ok. The only complaint is loud music at night on weekend you can hear in your room. Bring a sound machine
