If you’ve travelled by car, this is definitely the place to stay….large, secure car park and about a 20 minute walk to centre of Canterbury. Taxi about £5.40 back from centre. Very recommended indeed."

"Restaurant was closed but we were assured a full menu would be served in the renovated bar. Only fish and chips, hamburgers, curry, no beer (only Peroni!!) and the bar was empty and soulless. Not how we imagined our celebration with friends would be We complained but the General Manager was only contactable by email. He still has not replied. The hotel is not nearly as grand and welcoming as advertised. There are better places to stay in Canterbury."
