"We booked the king bed deluxe room with a fireplace and balcony for my boyfriend’s birthday and had an amazing time. Upon check-in we were pleasantly surprised with a birthday note and local chocolates, as well as a note from the cleaning staff to wish us a nice stay. The room was modern, clean, the bed was extremely comfortable and the view was great. The complimentary breakfast was very basic but did the job. Having Browns Socialhouse on location was very convenient. (Great salmon poke bowl & French dip sandwich) The outdoor jacuzzi did get busy but watching the sunset while relaxing there wasn’t too shabby :) I wish there was access to it from the outside gate (exit only) rather than having to walk around and through the gym but I understand why they did that (so you can grab towels and shower). The beach is sandy and long with some rocks and tide pools to explore. Tofino is just a few minute drive away. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you "

"Staff was very helpful. My room was very quiet so had a great sleep. Hot shower. Forgot to pack my swim trunks so could not enjoy the sauna. Good location to the Wick and to downtown. Overall enjoyable. Glad they had a coffee shop inside. "

"We decided to last minute extend our trip in Tofino and found a good rate to stay at Mackenzie beach Resort for the evening. They accomodated us by letting us know right away when our room was ready. The 3 hour early check in was super nice and appreciated! We stayed in one of the bungalows, everything was spotless, high tech, and very comfortable. We really enjoyed the large private patio with your own BBQ and hot tub. The location is also perfect, just a quick walk to the beach. There's also a cute cafe onsite that makes delicious lattes to enjoy on a morning beach stroll. Definitely would recommend and stay again! "

"The room was really nice and cozy, and the bathroom was stunning. The new renovation looks absolutely amazing! The front desk accommodated an earlier check-in for us which was lovely. We also didn’t hear any noise from the pub downstairs at all, but we were in the wing on the other side of the hotel — if we had paid for an ocean view then we would have been in the wing directly above the pub which would have likely meant noise. The Bear was also really good and the oysters we had were divine! Would absolutely stay here again"
