The check in and out process was fast and easy. The staff at the front desk and elsewhere were very friendly. The room was very clean and perfect for my stay. All guests have access to a lounge on the fourth floor equipped with a coffee machine, beverages, snacks and filtered water. The hotel is located above a beautiful community center and is 30-40 minutes from the airport, depending on traffic. Parking is free. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would recommend the hotel.

Great room plenty of space

Amazing as you walk in! The two ladies at front desk working the evening on May 25th were the sweetest kindest and helpful women ever!!!! The place was very clean and the location is near downtown!!

Easy parking, simple breakfast, clean and fun pool. Huge bedroom!

Beautiful hotel in lovely Sydney. Not too far from ferry. Walk to restaurants and shops. The backyard is the ocean. The hotel is nice and clean and beds were comfortable. They offered free breakfast which was amazing! Staff was nice. The only complaint I have is I wish i would've paid extra for the ocean view. Would definitely stay again.

It was a quick stay but satisfying

We had the absolute best time staying here. All the staff took great care of us. My service dog (Fenrir) took quite a liking to Beny, the owner. Fenrir loved having his own balcony to sleep on since he preferred the cold. Would love to add photos but it's not working... The location of the lodge couldn't be more perfect! It's right next to everything without being too close to the party bars. I don't think we will ever stay anywhere else again. Blackcomb Lodge is now our goto place for...

Paradox Vancouver definitely meets my expectation of a luxury stay. Super friendly staff. The hotel facilities are top notched. Great location. Tons of great restaurants within walking distance. I love the fact that they recognize my VIP status with Expedia and give me some great perks. Make sure you check out the pool and hot tub. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in the area. It's great value for the money.

Had a Harborview room, fantastic view and a balcony. The pool and the gym are excellent.

The James Bay Inn is my go-to hotel in Victoria, BC! I absolutely love it! The location got me in the door, and the staff and the way they took care of me and the hotel have kept me coming back for a while now! We loved this hotel. It was clean, quiet and having a kitchenette was very convenient for snacks and drinks. Even though it’s contactless, there was an employee presence. We saw someone assisting a guest having trouble with a code, we saw cleaning service daily even though we didn’t request it. We easily obtained extras— towels, coffe/tea, etc. We liked our patio area and we loved being in a room with no carpeting.
