"This is a lovely property. I would say it’s more of a Relais & Chateau minus. Lighting was not great, closet was too small and had too few hangers - also they were the attached kind so difficult to use. Not the hotel’s fault, but the east chairs in the room were not comfortable for my husband, who is elderly. Amenities in the bathroom a little skimpy for a Relais & Chateaux. We liked this hotel, rooms were comfortable and a good size although room cleaning and breakfast arrangements were a little haphazard. Maybe take breakfast orders at the table rather than having to track down a member of staff every morning.

"We booked an apartment we loved the location it close to the centre, it did have a building site opposite but it didnt really both us.
The apartment was clean and tidy but you had to pay for further cleans during your stay, we just kept on top of the cleanliness and it was fine.

If you want intimacy in your shower, this may not be for you. There was a burning smell coming into the room through the air conditioning, maybe from the restaurant below? After a few nights it started to give me a headache. The cleaners left me little gifts for the days I didn't need cleaning. It was cute. :)"

Language issues were a problem as well.The sun beds does not have direct access to the waterfront on the beach which is a disadvantage when travelling with children. "Waterlane was a nice stay for an extended time. Quiet, although a bit of hallway noise at times. There were some rather irritating issues — lamp with non-working bulb; exhaust hood for cooktop not working; vegetable/fruit drawer in refrigerator broken. Location quite convenient, very busy LIDL about 10 minutes away, and Forum about 20 minutes."
