"Location of the hotel was excellent, all within walking distance. The lake was outside the hotel, short walk to trains, buses and shops& cafes. Beautiful sceneries. Our room was very comfortable and spacious, even on 7th floor shower was brilliant. All the hotel staff were very helpful, friendly and responded to our queries immediately. The reception staff in particular was very very helpful. Breakfast had a good choice, the swimming pool and hot tub was clean and never crowded. I stayed with 3 teenage grandchildren and had the best time together. If we visit Montreux again this will be our choice again. Highly recommended to stay here to anyone visiting this beautiful lakeside town. We had a lovely relaxed time at the Royal Plaza hotel."

"Great view and. Location ! The only thing I didn’t like is the fact that they don’t allow 4 people regardless if they’re kids or not in the room while the rooms are big and vast. Other than that, location and view are amazing."

"Very nice and helpful staff and a great location for visiting the castle and museum. Watch out for heat though especially if American because fans are provided. Was fine with cool mountain air at night and admit was unusually hot in Europe"

"5/5 ⭐️ Excellent location directly across from the train station, which made getting around incredibly easy. A big plus was having air conditioning in the rooms, especially during the summer months. Just be aware that the restaurants are not air-conditioned, so that’s something to keep in mind if you’re visiting during hot weather. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and the hotel was very clean and well maintained. We really enjoyed our stay and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend!"

"An amazing little village to visit. Quite touristy in the day but we enjoyed the evenings when a lot of people went home and we could enjoy the quiet of the village and the spectacular views. The hotel was right in the centre in a beautiful old building, this was good apart from we visited when it was really hot and the air con unit was ok but quite noisy. The room catered for all 4 of us with some quirky features, my favourite was the goat head board 😁"
