We stayed at many different places on Koh Lanta. The Crown Lanta was, by a large measure, the best place we stayed at. The grounds are gorgeous, the location wonderful, and the service impeccable. The breakfast was the second best in our entire Thailand stay (the best being at the unrivaled Mandarin Oriental, a 400+/night hotel).
For Xmas Eve, we were staying at the Cha-Da Resort, but decided to attend the Crown Lanta Xmas Eve event instead, which as fantastic.
Amazing staff and villa will make your stay luxurious and seamless. We had the most accomadting stay with Alanta Villa and I highly recommend staying their if you are ever in Koh Lanta. They picked us up from the Pier at no charge. The head staff member gave us a local cell phone to have and use during our stay to make things easy in contacting them. They have great food and staff was so fast to respond and acomadate you with whatever you need for example food delivery they handle for you,...

Nice and spacious place, but best to have a motorbike cuz walking on the main road at night is a bit dark and dangerous in front of the hotel.
For the money this place is great, but I suggest staying further South on the island cuz a way better vibe down that way.

Wonderful place to stay, right on the beach. Staff was so friendly and helpful. The bamboo huts were adorable. Air conditioning worked great. The food was delicious. Best French Fries and Veggie burger we had on the whole trip. The Massaman Curry was spectacular. Highly recommend this place to stay if you are visiting Koh Lanta.

Transfer from Krabi Airport was a breeze (hotel sorted it via their Facebook Page). Check in was quick and friendly, Pool View rooms were amazing.
