By the middle of the 19th century, Norrköping was the second largest industrial city in Sweden. 70% of Sweden's textiles were woven here. Magnificent factory buildings are proof of the cities industrial wealth. Today, none of these buildings are used in the way they were intended. "I stayed here 21 years ago and was glad to see with new owners it is still a lovely, quaint place to stay. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom remodeled. Wood floors and the classic style is so much nicer than a standard hotel. The breakfast was very good and the location is close to shopping. I will stay again when we visit Norrkoping. "
