We loved the view, privacy, helpfulness of the staff when we had rental car issues and relaxing atmosphere at the Hotel Collinetta. The room was lovely and the air conditioning very much appreciated as it was quite warm for our stay. We ate at the restaurant several times during our 4 night stay and loved every meal. The breakfast was wonderful also. Collinetta was the highlight of our 2 week trip to Switzerland. We would definitely stay again.
To start , some of us can't leave without Ac , this property not only has one but one that works , ( those of you who travel through the old world understand). Service is exceptional, and property is not a resort size but big enough. Great for families and couples as well, available bikes for all ages, pool ( small but warm) gym, indoor pool, on site dining option , and again service excellent.
Communication with the hotel even before arrival was good and clear. At the property they were pleasent and clear abkut everything. The room had a great view, was clean, spacious enough for our luggage and nicely designed. Great central location.

We had the most wonderful stay. The Hotel is exceptional with fine interior design and art along with all the luxurious amenities. We stayed in a room with the most beautiful view of the lake. I highly recommend getting a room with a view. Our Breakfast and dinners were delicious, our room was spotless and pristine, the spa was super relaxing and the staff were Top Notch. We had the best time and recommend this beautiful hotel to others to enjoy.
The Lugano Dante hotel is a great hotel, the location can't be beaten, steps from the funicular and right by the city center, we walked everywhere. This hotel is very generous in terms of taking of customers, free drinks in room mini bar, coffee, espresso, apples, waters in the lobby, make one feel so much like home. The Millennium Hotel was an adorable boutique hotel, located just a five-minute walk from the train station and across the street from Lake Maggiore. My room was gorgeous, with a bed that felt like sleeping on clouds. Everything was extremely clean. Breakfast was delicious and the proprietors are very nice. They even offered to arrange a transportation card for me, but I couldn’t take advantage of that because, sadly, I only stayed one night on my way to Milan. I hope to return and stay longer.
