I am a fan of Barcelo hotels but not of this one, i felt a little disappointed for the cost of the stay, but being in Madrid explained why is such this way. We spent one night here after a football game before flying home to the States. It was a perfect location to Vincente Calderon stadium, walking distance, very easy. The room was a good size, with very comfortable beds and a nice sized bathroom. We ate at the restaurant downstairs after the game. Excellent location. Great staff. Rooms are immaculate and decorated beautifully. This is my 2nd time staying here. Lovely hotel. Breakfast is amazing. While not close to all the major museums, it is extremely close to the buses that will take you to them in minutes. Also, only about 3 blocks from the bus/train station. Bus 200 will take you from/to Madrid Barajas airport. If I ever come back to Madrid, I will stay here.
