"Terrible 2 night stay. BookedPremier room 8 and got room 9. READ reviews as negative reviews hidden when scrolling.most positive reviews were up to 5 years ago. Room with old heavily soiled carpets, fraying mats, illfitting curtains so light all night, tv not extendable only view from bed not lounge, smoke alarm not working,only one small bedlight,water damaged wall near front door,no door insect protection. One waste bin for bathroom shared with larger room, no general notices, no "do not disturb" sign but still had no room service on second day, refrigerator iced over, only 2 facial tissues in box,out of date tourism brochures, no view other than driveway to street.BATHROOM dangerous with slippery tiles, unfinished repairs to walls, clogged vanity which was very tiny(not shown in ad). No face cloths, handtowelsor tea towels.Owner said people steal them so gave us 2 extra flimsy bathtowels,one toilet roll, rust everywhere,dirty mirror. Obviously photos did not display this bathroom. ENTRANCE to motel depressing as looked neglected, office entry needs proper step as step up is very high. Pool is very small, more like a plunge pool. Overall this motel is geared to casual overnighters who probably don't return or report shortcomings. My advice as a seasoned, frequent traveller is stay elsewhere. It was a burden to stay there for two nights.AGAIN keep scrolling the reviews for uptodate information, "

"Internet was spotty in some areas of the property. Rooms are quite dated, no bedside plugs or usb charge points. Lighting around the walkways at night and though the parking lots is woefully inadequate. This could pose a safety concern to single female travellers. While there are some motion sensor lights on the breezeways, they were few and far between, leaving you in complete darkness in between zones. The food at the restaurant was average, resulting in us leaving the property to seek lunch and dinner alternatives. "

"We enjoyed our first experience at the holiday park birthday weekend stay with our 2yr old. The cabin was clean and contained everything we needed as a family of 3, from secure late check in, parking space, tv x2, bbq to a/c to fridge/ freezer. We took a look at the reviews and park map to ensure we booked a cabin in a quiet location away from childrens play equipment. We would book again as it's not too far from Sydney. Looking forward to next time. "

"Rooms were small but very clean, beds very comfortable. Breakfast was included and was very good. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Lovely location in a 1928 hotel. Highly recommend if you want a pleasant setting with some old worldly charm"

"We took room with an ensuite. While they're very small, it does the job. There is no a/C which we knew about, but thankfully it was a cool night or it'd be very hot. Winter has heating. Now, if you can sleep through trains, yep more than one at night, then definitely stay here. It's a great old style Scottish themed pub, yes it's creaky and like a rabbit warren finding rooms (not that hard, good signage) and the food was very good. Great price and worth the visit."
