Bergfrieden was an excellent choice. Very tasty formal German breakfast included - meats, breads, yogurts, fruit, juices, coffee and tea. Well tended rooms. Fluffy blankets. Very sufficient for the American traveller.

Nice location with a excellent restaurant

The Brenners Hotel and Spa property is simply sublime and exquisite. The gardens are beautiful and peaceful and form the back drop for relaxing moments sipping beverages or enjoying quiet time. The Fritz and Felix restaurant is excellent and among the best in Baden Baden. The bar is gorgeous and the bartenders and service staff in general are all on top of their game.

This hotel is immaculate and very inviting! The staff are very friendly and generous! Throughout our whole trip to Germany this one was my favorite! The views of the Black Forest are breath taking and the breakfast they serve is delicious! We arrived here towards the end of our trip and had quite a bit of dirty clothes. They allowed us to use their washer for a small fee and also provided us a clothes hanger to take back to our room. I love Forbach and hopeful to return again and definitely stay...

Most excellent location, has underground parking, adjacent to Casino and walking to shopping, dining and thermal spa. We booked our stay last minute as usual, but got a great room with view of city. Breakfast buffet was on point, good choices. Royal Spa use is free, fee for other treatments.

Couldn't have enjoyed my stay more! I had just arrived after 30 hours of traveling. The reception staff was very friendly and accommodating to a tired, non-German speaking guest. The room was spacious, with a very comfortable bed and every amenity, including a complimentary minibar. It is very convenient to the Old Town (5-10 minute walk) with so many restaurants and shops. This was a very relaxing hotel that was close to everything in town. The staff was friendly and accommodating, the breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of options, and the overall experience exceeded our expectations for our first family vacation to Germany.

This beautiful little hotel is a great place to stay when in the Black Forest of Germany. The hotel is an older building which makes it even more comfortable with a rustic feel. The rooms are on the smaller side, but much like hotels in Europe. The rooms are air conditioned and very clean. The Erbprinz has very comfortable rooms and a very nice restaurant. The downside was that they have a smoking lounge at the front of the hotel and in the winter the smoke from there is blown all the way to the back of the hotel and up the tower. So at night my room on the fifth floor of the tower started to smell like smoke and I had to open the windows to deal with the smell. The front desk said that they have other rooms in a different section of the hotel that didn't have this problem.

What a magical hotel!! It was the summer mansion of a Baron and you are treated like royalty! Parking is right in front of the entrance. The staff insisted on bringing in our bags and then accommodated my 80 yr old husband's mobility issue with a ground floor room. I cannot rave enough about our room.
