"The room was pleasant clean and comfortable. Morning breakfast was more than adequate. The only negative was the parking area. The staff was great, as was the surrounding area"

"Easy to find, next to the railway and bus stations. A quiet and comfortable hotel with friendly staff and excellent facilities. Breakfast plentiful with good coffee, choices of cheese and cold meats, delicious breads, hot food, fruit salads and smoked fish. My room was very comfortable with a powerful shower. Tea and coffee making facilities and easy to control air con. Fully opening window if needed, but double glazing very efficient and I didn’t hear any noise. Also seemed well insulated - didn’t hear any noise from the corridor or the rooms next door. Public lounge area welcoming with a good choice of drinks. Also hotel has a policy of rewarding guests with a free drink voucher for not having their rooms cleaned every day which I enjoyed each evening. I had to leave too early for breakfast on my day of departure, so staff explained the kitchen would prepare me a takeaway breakfast - it was very generous and tasted great. Within an easy 10 minute walk of the centre of Ravensburg. I shall return next year and highly recommend. "

"We happened to get to the hotel at around 10am and the staff was very helpful in setting up us with a room near the elevator as well as keeping our luggage so we could explore the city. When we got to the room, we were surprised at how large it was and had windows on two sides since we were put into a corner room. We only stayed one night but the hotel is right on the waterfront and nearby to everything needed."

"Lake Constance is a wonderful area for vacations. The Plaza Hotel in Friedrichshafen is located a bit outside of downtown. Its a hotel with breakfast only. No restaurants nearby. Parking was a bit of a challenge at times, more cars than spaces. Breakfast buffet was excellent every day. The service was pleasant/friendly. "

"Very decent standard of IHG property, new and modern with all the facilities you'd expect. Staff were friendly and helpful and tried their best at all times. Breakfast can get very hectic and there needs to be a better timed booking system and a system where people don't hang about reading newspapers - that can be done elsewhere (their room for instance!) Water needs to be provided in take-away plastic bottles and not the glass/crown cap style at the moment. A/C control needs much more improvement and the controls work correctly."

"Old run out place with no aircondition. It was very warm in the room and strange smell, probably from the old carpet. "

"The reception desk was located inside the Hotel Restaurant/Bar, which was a little surprising to us. Our key card to access the room was also used to activate lights, Air conditioning etc. in the room, which was unique. When walking through the corridor one would be listening to bird sounds and that was very nice and calming. Parking was available in a Parking Garage across the hotel for a fee collected by the hotel. Overall we had a great stay. "
