Why not give yourself a treat with a trip to LEGOLAND® Billund, one of the most popular family attractions located 0.7 mi (1.2 km) from central Billund. If you have fun at LEGOLAND® Billund, you'll love Lalandia Water Park and WOW PARK Billund, both located nearby.
Why not give yourself a treat with a trip to Lalandia Water Park, one of the family attractions located 1.1 mi (1.7 km) from central Billund. If you have fun at Lalandia Water Park, you'll love LEGOLAND® Billund and WOW PARK Billund, both located nearby.
Billund is applauded for its cultural attractions such as Huset Olholm and Sculpturepark Billund. This walkable city has something for everyone including sights like LEGOLAND® Billund and Lego House within a tropical setting.
There is a lot of stuff in the area, not least of which is Legoland, just next door. There's also the WOW Park (which I didn't think much of), and a few other things. On a short stay, there's lots to do in Lalandia itself especially with kids.

Billund is a brilliant place to visit, especially if you're a Lego fan, but just be aware most things close pretty early

Recommend visiting Billund. Definitely recommend staying in The Lodge Hotel
"This was my third stay at the Refborg. In response to other reviews, I can confirm that this is an historic property maintained by a small, dedicated and very friendly staff who know the quirks of the property. Room layout and shower/bathroom size varies with each room. You will have plenty of hot water and great water pressure if you understand how to operate the knobs in the shower. Ask for help if it is confusing. You will have standard Danish beds which have separate bases that serve as the mattress, with a topper. This is the norm, and quite comfortable, but may not feel cushiony if you are not used to it. You can always request more pillows to use as body pillows if you wish. The windows all open in a variety of positions. Ask for assistance if you are not sure how to operate them. Air conditioning is not common in Denmark. In summer, open your windows at night, close the shades for the day to lessen heat. The Refborg provides fans to circulate air for comfort. One day may be warm/hot, with the next much cooler. If you are uncomfortable. know the weather will soon change. The rooms at the Refborg are ample for a single, cozy for a couple, a little more cozy for families. Utilize the community room and lounge area outside it for more play space. A fridge and microwave is there for your use too. If something just doesn't feel right, speak to the staff. I have gotten to know many of them well and know they will always do their best to help make your stay feel like home."
"Vi var mycket nöjda med vårt besök! Mycket fint rum med sköna sängar. Frukosten var mycket bra! Den behövde bokas till vilken tid man ville komma vilket först kändes lite besvärligt men det fungerade väldigt bra och ledde till en lugn stämning i frukostmatsalen då det inte blev trängsel. Extra plus för goda glutenfria alternativ. Rekommenderar detta hotell!"
"Lalandia water dome is excellent, with flumes and water fun for kids of all ages. The beds were comfortable but the pillows were old and lumpy. Good location for legoland but some properties are a 20 min walk from the activity centre and main entrance. Some offers, like booking linen on-line, are only available for if you book direct, which is frustrating. Extra charges for water, heating and electricity, which for us cost €17, in the Summer."
"We have just left the castle hotel after staying for 3 nights and gone to a cabin in lalandia, wish we booked castle hotel for whole trip. Fantastic, cant fault. We will be back"
"Excellent! The service was exceptional (thank you Jaysen, Stine, and team)!! The food at the No8 restaurant was fantastic. The food and service were of the highest quality. Would strongly recommend the Hotel Svanen."
