We absolutely loved our stay at Tambor del Llano! The inn, grounds, and farm are lovely and peaceful. We spent 2 nights and we wish we had booked at least 3 nights. We rode their wonderful horses, ate delicious meals, and truly enjoyed just spending time at the inn and and on the grounds. We could explore the fun and busy nearby white villages, but we were always so happy to return to our "home" at Tambor.
My stay at this property was excellent! The location is simply breathtaking, nestled in the beautiful Sierra mountains. We used this charming spot as a stopover on our journey from Ronda to Seville, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip.
The small village setting added a magical touch, offering stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere. The local food was fantastic, showcasing authentic flavors that were a joy to experience.

We loved the Hotel Colon. Excellent location. Our room (201) had great double aspect views. Beds were comfortable. Reception and breakfast staff were really friendly and helpful. Also, excellent value. We would definitely stay here again!

Let me start with my only real concern...and it is one that is pervasive of accommodations in Spain. The beds are overly firm...and Americans will find the convention of making a queen bed out of two twins less than perfectly romantic. That said...my partner and I loved this place. The grounds are beautiful, the vistas breathtaking, the location is a great jumping off point for visiting the many Pueblos Blancas in the region. We enjoyed the restaurant on site (try the eggplant in sweet sauce)...
