The pool was essential in the summer and made the days in high heat so much easier. A glorious hotel steeped in family history but delivered through modern elegance - we will be back!"

"I really can’t fault the place. It is rated 1 star, so I didn’t have much expectation, but it actually exceeded my expectations. Checking in at 2am wasn’t an issue, moving our luggage into a new room while we were out wasn’t a problem, and they even let us leave our luggage after check out so we could explore the city freely. The location is excellent, only a 5 minute walk from the main bus and train station. The room was clean, good shower, comfy beds and pillows, good AC, very helpful English speaking staff and a nicely decorated place. What else do you need for a short stay?"

"Not a socket next to all bunks and one by mine, although worked, was hanging out of wall! Not all toilets working but shower rooms plenty of space. Breakfast was nice touch, basic c but ok for being included. Took a while to find as door was not obvious!"
