Good
Dreamland Scenic Arena is a fantastic live music venue and was the reason for our visit. There are plenty of interesting dining options just off the front and some great pubs and bars. The Loop bus service offers a Day Rider for just over a Fiver

Excellent
Loved my weekend visit helped all the more by excellent weather. Really able to explore all it had to offer and also relax.
"We received the warmest of welcomes from Jim, the proprietor. He was so lovely, funny and kind. Although the Shenandoah is a period house, it is right up to date, the decor and furniture looked new. The room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was excellent, there was probably something to suit everyone. I’m a bit of a Nespresso addict and usually take a machine with me when I travel, I didn’t this trip but was delighted when I found a Nespresso machine in the breakfast room.
The Shenandoah has rooms to suit most. It even has glamping pods if you fancy something a bit different.
There is off street parking.
Thanks, Jim, it’s obvious that you’d go the extra mile for your guests!

"A friendly staff, comfortable room, affordable prices and excellent location make this a great place for a good night’s sleep in Canterbury. We could see the Cathedral tower out of our window."
"Centrally located hotel with a nice bar which had live jazz music on Friday afternoons. The rooms seem fairly new in their decor and there was a nice comfortable bed. We were given the option of taking an accessible room as we booked very last minute and it was incredibly spacious and we didn't hear any noise. We didn't eat in the hotel. "
