"The hotel was spotless, cosy, staff very friendly especially the Italian barman. The food tasted great and views were stunning! I loved the outdoor area and surrounding grounds are fab! You can go down to a beach area or go a woodland walk. The only thing I feel could improve it further would be to have a little bit bigger option for breakfast. Oh and more haggis in the Balmoral chicken so that I could actually taste it but other than the food tasted amazing! "
"The staff was very friendly & helpful; the food was terrific; the bar is darling; the shower is phenomenal because of the water pressure!!!; the views from the hotel breathtaking. We also liked staying just outside the city of Oban( only 5 miles distance from Oban.)"
"The property was walkable to all of the sites in Oban including the ferry terminal. It offered free parking. Breakfast was not included with the room, but there were plenty of restaurants close by."
"We stayed here to do some walking on the WHW.
Our room was very spacious and clean, it was cleaned every day and coffee and milk etc was replenished each day. The breakfast was good with plenty of choice. The bar area was a little outdated but still fine for a drink after a long days walking. What really stood out was the lovely staff, they were all so friendly and happy to help.
We would definitely stay here again."
"Like the boutique hotels popular in New York now. Stylish, very clean, smallish rooms in a good location. Nice hotel for the price. Staff all very upbeat and nice."
"The stay was amazing and the establishment was awesome, the only down points are that the twin bed seemed old as we felt the spring directly through the matress and there were no toileteries. Other than that it was amazing! "
