The property is very charming and cozy. The room was spacious and beautifully furnished in a country rustic style. The room was newly renovated and it was very comfortable and charming and clean. Service was excellent as well. We will definitely stay here again.
Check-in was a little haphazard but after that things generally went very smoothly. Was disappointed there was no air-conditioning - we were in the middle of a heat wave and my room was fiercely hot with an open window as 'air-conditioning' and several flies. After my shower and fly-hunting activities I ate dinner outside in the courtyard. Food and service were excellent. Did not manage to fall asleep til 3am and was awoken at 10 am by loud laughter from the kitchen staff right below my...
We stayed in Cherry. It was a lovely room with a nice, up-to-date bathroom. It was plenty roomy for the two of us and the bed was amazingly comfortable. Breakfast was delicious with great service. Overall, we were very pleased and would definitely return.
Very lovely and quiet hotel within a comfortable walking distance to the tourist attractions, with free parking permit provided. Staff are very nice and helpful. Breakfast is excellent. Really recommended for visitors with the car.
Great location, beautiful property and garden. Our room was very small but we made it work. Next time we'd opt for larger room. The only disappointing thing was the breakfast, We stayed here on the recommendation of my sister who stayed here in Nov. They raved about the fabulous breakfast, apparently the menu changed since and it was disappointing in being buffet style and the exact same for all 5 days we stayed.sausage, beans scrambled eggs, bacon would have been nice or omelets or...
The Abbey is a darling place to stay. Clean rooms, comfortable beds, and the most charming staff. Lovely breakfast and absolutely perfect location, close to everything . . . walkable to high street, tons of restaurants, the theatre, and the bus depot. I will definitely stay here again.
Great location and the public spaces smell amazing and you can buy their candles and diffusers. Would definitely recommend - will stay here on my next trip to Bath
Lovely property, a bit too far for me from the center of Bath, through an area that did not feel quite safe later in the evening. Otherwise, a lovely property, good value for the cost
Beautiful hotel, with fantastic gardens, exceptional rooms & service. We were lucky enough to have a large room on the third floor with gorgeous views of the gardens & hills in the distance.
