Notable for its seaside, Barmouth features attractions such as Barmouth Beach and Barmouth Bridge. Visitors to this welcoming city speak highly of the bars whereas sights include Eryri National Park and Ty Crwyn.
A lovely old fashioned feel to the town. It was bigger than we expected but massive beaches that were not at all crowded but it was early may. A lot of people with dogs who were al kept on a lead (the dogs not the people!!). Hope to go back soon.

Lovely little spot that's been adding great dining options to it's more traditional offerings over the past few years. You can spend an afternoon wandering the beach and amusements, followed by a top quality tasting menu in the evening.

Barmouth has a beautiful, sandy beach. There are a few lovely places to eat, The Last Inn being one of them. The train station is great for fast, efficient transport to other fabulous plaes of interest. Knickerbockers serves delicious ice-cream 😋

My favourite town in Wales. Sea, cliffs, dunes, vast beaches- everything just in one place

Barmouth has had a facelift in some places. We found the pubs and restaurants a little on the pricy side, but it is a seaside town.

Barmouth is a lovely seaside town but it gets busy and parking is difficult after 10am at weekends.

"Super clean, super nice. Very helpful staff. Especially if you need to call ahead for anything. Would definitely recommend. Super close to everything in barmouth too."
"Absolutely perfect, the rooms are spacious and clean, the beds were comfortable and the shower was hot but the main thing was the owner and her family and friends, I had an accident on my bike during the day and unbeknown to me had concussion, without question we were invited to join the owner in their area later that evening to wait for an ambulance, my friends and myself were made to feel at home even to the point of making me hot chocolate, it felt like we'd known them for years, above and beyond what they needed to do and for that they have my utmost thanks .
I wouldn't hesitate to stay at Seascape again hopefully next time I'll be a bit safer out 😁
5 stars without hesitation."
"Room spacious and comfortable with extras like tea/coffee/water well stocked. Bath was nice to have but also a powerful shower. Food is good although service stops a little early - especially on Sunday. Breakfast very good - all cooked to order."
"Stayed on the ground floor. Had a double bed in one room with access to the bathroom. two singles beds sofa comfy chair, tv microwave fridge in another room and access to an outside large patio area.
Beds were very comfy rooms were clean, tea and coffee making facilities were supplied with a bottle of milk left in the fridge for us with 3 bottles of water. Breakfast was great fruit juices, cereals and full English cooked fresh. Will definitely stay here whenever I come back to Barmouth.
Proprietors were very friendly and informative."
"We absolutely enjoyed our stay in Bryn Melyn apartment. It's walking distance to the town centre (although it's a bit hilly.) The room is sparklingly clean, cozy and spacious, and has a stunning view. Barmouth is lovely town and has lots of pubs and restaurants. Highly recommended."
