"Rubi is a complete oasis in the middle of the jungle. The staff, especially Diego were unbelievable. By far one of the best trips we have ever taken. There is construction in the area which is to be expected in Tulum however the shelter of the hotel, rich natural habitat and complete vibe still take you away to paradise. Strongly recommend this property. "

"Beautiful small boutique resort. Maybe not the most desirable area of Tulum as many people want to be down by the beach, but with a rental car or bicycle we got around just fine. The property was serene, unique in design and staff/cleaning were excellent. Better service than most full service Marriott’s I stay at. Loved the private plunge pools and private outdoor shower. "

"Roxy and Ramon are excellent hosts! My wife and I stayed for a week at their beautiful place for our honeymoon. They made it special for us, gave us ideas on local restaurants and also cooked up delicious breakfast! We didn’t want to leave, and the best part was the place itself. Our room was the Lapiz Lazuli suite with its own pool. It was spacious, clean and private. The location was perfect as you are a short distance from local eatery and boutique stores.
