If it rains nearly everything closes down. The walkway between cities, the laundry mat, most restaurants and even the store that sells pasta and oils. We left pretty disappointed. But we'll try again. And then it will probably be a 5 star visit.

Riomaggiore is very pretty! It's also probably the busiest of the 5 village with lots of people and steps. Amazing views and pics are like postcards. Would stay again

Riomaggore is the best place to stay in Cinque Terre, so long as you are ok with walking up a lot of steps.

The boat ride with Luca and at the local coffee shops and restaurants were so friendly and helped us with our requests to get our bags to the of the hill. The locals/village help with bags was very helpful and couldn't have done it without them.

Quite dead in the off season, which is good or bad, depending on you.
"Hôtel très propre. Le déjeuner est excellent. Nous sommes arrivés 30 minutes plus tôt et les chambres n’étaient pas disponibles. La réceptionniste nous a offert des boissons alcoolisées avec des croustilles et des amuse-bouches. Un des meilleurs accueils que nous avons eu. "
"Great place to stay, so close to the station and main area/ marina. Lots of restaurants close by. Very safe and secure. Rooms kept very clean. Only thing to be aware of it’s about 7/8 min uphill, but most hotels in the area are the same. Would stay again here. Enrique was very informative of things to do/ cheap transport passes etc."
"The property is located in a village that is quite magical. Had I known just how amazing the villages were, I would have stayed a week. Dont underestimate the amount of walking and stairs you will be doing to get to your room though. Pack light and wear tennis shoes. I had blisters just getting to my room the first trip, though they were worth it. This room in particular is outstanding. We will be back!"
"Great place to stay in Riomaggiore. We loved the fact that it was in the main street which allowed us to enjoy our balcony view. We felt welcomed since the start. She provided us with so many attractions we could do and recommendations that we appreciated. The hotel is located near by the train station which makes it easy to navigate from one to another town. We would say overall this hotel was a great pick since we didn’t have anything to complain about but just love everything about it. Would totally stay here again and will recommend to my loved ones. "
"The property seems relatively new , great breakfast buffet . Spacious rooms . Front desk staff knowledgeable and helpful. Perfectly located to grab the train to Cinque Terre. "
