"Nice location. Very convenient and close to the airport. Good quality breakfast. Great gift shop -clean rooms. We also used the travel desk to help us arrange a great day tour of San Jose."

"The hotel was nice enough and we enjoyed walking the trails to the waterfall. However, I would NOT recommend this hotel, particularly the Villa Prima Mountain View suite. We were kept awake by multiple dogs barking nearby for several hours and spoke to the front desk about the problem twice before being given a different room to sleep in. There were no fans available in the room for white noise and despite the windows being closed, we could hear sounds from outside very loudly. This was a big disruption to our stay as we were just there for one night before our flight out of San Jose. Staff were apologetic but not proactive. We were also charged $72 for three margaritas at dinner, $10/drink for the margarita mix plus $14/drink for Don Julio tequila. "

"We stayed the night before our departure. Located close from the airport and right next to the mall. We enjoyed their buffet style breakfast. The shuttle takes you to the airport every 30 minutes which was very convenient for us since we didn’t have a car."

"Lovely tranquil setting not too far from the airport but away from the city bustle. The rooms were spacious and comfortable and the staff kind and helpful. The property has a lovely garden with a small trail. The central areas and dining room feel slightly dated."

"We throughly enjoyed our stay at this property. Staff were easy to deal with and very friendly, polite and knowledgeable. Location worked well for our purposes. Breakfast was good and quickly served. Property was well cared for and clean."

"The room was very clean; the staff was helpful. I liked how the breakfast time was not short it was from 6:00 -10:00 so it didn't force you to wake up early on vacation. The menu was different I assume it was authentic Costa Rican breakfast but you def was able to find something to eat. I didn't go to the bar but coming in and out of the property I saw a lot of guests sitting at the bar so it seemed popular."
