An excellent hotel in Beijing! The concierge team was outstanding, going above and beyond to secure entrance tickets to various sights of interest for us, which can be tricky for foreigners to do on their own. Perfectly located in the middle of all the furniture factories and shops, very clean, great breakfast buffet, rooms are very good and the staff is very friendly and helpful.

Excellent location. They offered an upgrade for only 30usd extra and I got a gorgeous suite with a terrace and view of the skyline. I wish I could have stayed longer

Excelent hotel with a superb location. The only thing to improve could be the attention at the front desk wit a better attitude towards the guests and a better command of the english language.

Overall experience is pleasant.Located in the business and financial center of city, it is very convenient to go anywhere you want to go and walking distance to shopping center nearby. The staffs are friendly and helpful. Room is clean, no strange smells.

It is a very nice place to stay- very comfortable room, and friendly, helpful staff. There is lots of activities in Shanghai, and this hotel is not far from them, with subway station 1 minute away.

On checking in, we were told that we were booked in the Garden Tower, which was an old structure from 1987 and showed its age, and were encouraged to upgrade to the Valley Tower, that was only a few years old. I was surprised at such a significant disparity in the condition of the two towers, especially at the Shangri-la. The room was huge with a nice view of the mall next door and the downtown area. Service was great. Easy access to everywhere.

Friendly staff

I was almost a day late to check-in. So they took a whole day reservation and i stayed for only 2 hrs of that day. So i expected the hotel staff understand my situation that was caused by the weather , but they said they couldn't do anything about it.
