Serenade Punta Cana Beach & Spa Resort - All Inclusive
2/10 Terrible
"When we arrived they gave us one bed instead of the two beds we paid for and blamed it on them “overbooking” which was so inconsiderate they didn’t even offer to fix it just more like a it is what is situation. The ac didn’t work , the workers were very rude and nasty to us, constantly would sit us and give our tables away to others, and room had a very strong odor. This hotel ruined my entire DR experience & I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone. Also the buffet food was disgusting omg it was awful & all the restaurants were always booked and never had any availability. I would never go back ever !"
"Overall, we enjoyed our time at Ocean Blue & Sands. We were there for 6 nights & were able to eat at all the restaurants, participate in some of the events offered, & really enjoyed the pool & beach! I would recommend this property, but would like to point out a few things that were unexpected/disappointing.
1. The reservation process for restaurants is inconsistent across the various restaurants. 2 you must book online between 7-9 am the day you want to visit. Another one, you can stand in line at 6 pm day-of to get on the list for a later time. The other one, there's no waitlist/reservation list unless they are full at the time you show up. It was confusing & a bit frustrating.
2. The "1-hour presentation" you feel guilted into took 3 HOURS, even after trying to end it multiple times. It's presented to you as "you will hear about the resort's amenities from a concierge," but it's a ploy to get you to hear about the Premium membership package. You are forced to eat breakfast with a rep, listen to the presentation and tour a "Privilege" room to see what you get if you sign up. Friends, the minimum investment was $4K that day and we had 1 hour to decide or the price would triple. My recommendation is not even to entertain the "presentation."
3. There are signs everywhere saying not to reserve the pool/beach chairs, yet every morning they were & people wouldn't even be using them by 11 am or later. We ended up just moving the towels and nobody ever approached us about it! "
Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Punta Cana an All-Inclusive Resort
4/10 Poor
"Resort is enormous. Main building has mediocre bars with no windows and no outside component. Food is sub par. Would never stay here again.
Impossible to get reservations at the two restaurants that require them. "
