Grand Bavaro Princess - All Inclusive
10/10 Excellent
"The property, the staff, the food, were all great! It's quite big and they offer train carts to get around(they go in a loop).
There is a lot of wildlife, like peacocks, ducks, and turtles for example. The have a beautiful mamgrove with a path, so that you can walk through.
If you are looking for a more quiet and relaxed vibe, this is the place for you.
There are activities during the day, either at the pool or the beach depending on the time of the day. And in the evenings there is entertainment near the main lobby.
We stayed in the Platinum Club area and really enoyed it. PBG (Platinum Beach Grill) was very good.
I went with 4 other people and we all enjoyed the food at all of the restaurants we went to. The Indian and Mexican restaurants were favorites but the buffets and food trucks were decent as well.
The drinks from the Platinum bars were amazing, all the other bars were hit or miss.
The beautiful water fountain is a great addition to the esthetics.
Overall enjoyed the stay, would come back... After all, this is my second time here !

"Misleading “5-Star” Experience – Very Disappointing Stay
I booked Serenade Punta Cana Beach & Spa Resort specifically because it was recommended to me through Expedia as part of my Gold member benefits. The listing promoted incentives such as a $500 resort credit, complimentary room upgrade (pending availability), and late checkout (pending availability). Unfortunately, my experience felt extremely misleading and disappointing from start to finish.
First, the check-in process was completely disorganized. We arrived in the Dominican Republic around 12:00 PM and did not receive our room until nearly 7:00 PM, which is unacceptable for any resort claiming to be 5-star. The staff did not properly explain the property, how to make restaurant reservations, restaurant hours, or even simple things like needing towel cards to access pool towels. As a result, we spent much of the trip confused and trying to figure things out ourselves.
During our stay, I noticed a clear difference in treatment between guests. Many Caucasian travelers received full tours of the property and more attentive service, while we were not offered any guidance at all. This left us feeling overlooked and unwelcome.
The food was by far the worst part of the experience. The resort focuses on quantity instead of quality. Much of the food appeared recycled between meals, and many items that should have been hot were served cold. Even freshly fried items such as calamari came out cold. Several restaurants required"
Finest Punta Cana by The Excellence Collection - All Inclusive
10/10 Excellent
"My family and I enjoyed our stay at The Finest Punta Cana. The reviews made me nervous but I’m glad I decided to give this property a try. We stayed in a swim up suite and it was perfect. What stood out during our visit was the customer service. The staff was excellent and very attentive. We saw Javier everyday and he made sure we were aware of all daily activities and he was very helpful and friendly with my entire family. Wellington and team at the beach was outstanding. He made sure we were taking care of during our cabana rental or at any seat we had on the beach. The drinks stayed flowing and food service was great. We highly recommend this resort if you want luxury and excellent customer service. The staff is the main reason we would return again. The food could use more seasonings but it was not terrible. I think they should have more salt and pepper available to use. The food pools were clean and my 8 year old had a blast and made friends. Pool chairs were easy to find. We are planning on coming back really soon. We came skeptical and left as family. Thank you for a wonderful stay. "
Grand Sirenis Punta Cana Resort & Aquagames - All Inclusive
8/10 Good
"The beach was amazing. Staff was friendly. Everything is within a close walk. Lots of food options around the pool. There are bars everywhere. Wilkins was the best bartender, in our opinion. Lots of great entertainment throughout the day. They accommodated a late check out, even at near max capacity.
Our only complaint was the housekeeping. There were a couple of days that they didn’t come at all. We had to request toilet paper and Kleenex. The days that they did come, we had to request face cloths and a bath mat. They would take them and not replace. Minor issues in the grand scheme of things. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely return. "
"Only one outlet in the room worked and the phone didn't work. Told the front desk and they didn't do anything about it. Pools were great and restaurants were average. Staff was mostly friendly but many didn't speak English."
