The most excellent hotel in Kathmandu. I stayed here for three days. The room was very clean and comfortable. The staffs are very helpful. If I come to Kathmandu again, I’ll definitely choose to stay in this hotel again. Thank you for your hospitality and kindness.

Everything about it is what you would expect at a Marriott anywhere else in the world except for the concierge staff. The excellent concierge staff certainly justified the 5th star.

I stayed at Hotel Friend's Home for a week while in Kathmandu. The hotel staff were extremely friendly and willing to help with just about anything. Accommodations were basic, but if that is what you are looking for, it is perfect. Breakfast was great and tea/coffee provided at anytime. I needed internet connection and that worked well for the duration of my stay. Also, hot water! I will stay here next time as there is no need to go anywhere else.

Kasthamandap Boutique Hotel had perfection down to a science. From the most courteous, attentive staff to my hotel room being immaculately clean and meticulously pretty. It is situated in a lovely area of Thamel. I enjoyed taking walks through Thamel in the evenings. The staff is so courteous; they were always making sure we were taken care of. They helped us arrange flights to and from Pokhara and auto transportation to and from the airport. Every detail of the room was beautifully designed...

We had a fantastic stay, from the beautiful greeting we received from the gate keeper, to the cool drink we were offered upon arrival; the delicious breakfast, the kind friendly knowledgeable staff. The rooms were beautiful. Three of us were completely comfortable. All amenities you could wish for. We especially appreciated Santosh, Puza, Amir and Prem! Great job! Beautiful hotel.

This was a great place to stay and am a bit surprised it is only a 3-star rated hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They definitely went above and beyond whenever we needed anything. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the property well maintained. Breakfast was great!! There really wasn't anything I didn't like about the hotel.

My favorite place to stay in Kathmandu. Santos the Manager and Anu at the front desk are both excellent and very helpful. The 15% discount on food for the Roadhouse Cafe Restaurant is also very helpful for guests. The breakfast is delicious. Will definitely stay here again.

Great clean rooms, always hot water, amazing staff, great hot breakfast, strong AC! Couldn't have asked for a better option! Note: Power is out for several hours in the afternoon, so fridge is not really functional. Wifi continues to work all day!

Fantastic! The service at this hotel can not be beat! Everyone is beyond nice and helpful. The breakfast in the morning is excellent. I came in looking tired one day and they rushed to my room with a cup of tea to make me feel better. This hotel is on the edge of the tourist area which is good because it is quieter then other hotels but still very close to the action. They have generator back up so you are never without power and the water in the shower was always hot. They also pick you up and...

The hotel was super friendly and helpful and the location couldn't have been better, especially for a single foreign lady. I felt completely safe all the time and really enjoyed the neighborhood. The only negative is that the fans aren't connected to the generator so sometimes in the middle of the day the room was a little warm, though this wouldn't be a problem most of the year since it's not usually hot!

Outstanding staff takes care of your every need. The property is clean and a nice safe oasis from the chaos of the surrounding city. I recommend Hotel Timila - and will stay there again when I return to Nepal.

Very well maintained property. Rooms very comfortable and clean. Only issue was at check-in. I had reserved a room for a half day as my flight left in the evening. I had my text message from the hotel stating it would be $50 extra which I agreed to. Lady at the desk had to see the text. Take a screen shot and make a phone call to get approval. Rest of the stay was fine.
