"This was not what I expected the room had a sink and that was it, the TV buttons didn't work the toilets were like a porto loo cubical and the showers were the same shared with the rest of the corridor. The double bed was a mattress on a solid base and you could feel every spring in it. I have spent better nights camping ."

"Great central Hotel, near everything and a great coffee shop type area. Room was really spacious and clean. Beds comfortable and plenty towels. I would say not great for a disabled person. Lots of stairs but the Hotel has a night life too in the lounge bar area, had a DJ. I would come back as it was handy for the shops and restaurant's. Reception staff were very helpful, after reading reviews I was worried as a few people were very negative online but we didn't see anything to deserve those comments."

"Everything was great breakfast good apart from breakfast this morning and elderly couple the man's wife i think she had a disability because she was crouching while walking and it just didn't need male and female members of staff that wer on this morning only the 2 wer there mimicking the old lady pretty annoyed what I saw won't be staying again"

"The location for Stirling town centre is excellent! The lobby bar and restaurant all look great. The staff at check in were lovely. However We did not like our room it was basic and looked onto a flat roof . There were no bedside tables and only 1 chair to sit on. The bed was in a platform which I tripped off during the night and the floor had squeaky floor boards. Staff were friendly and parking was good at £10 for 24 hours. We never complained to staff about our room as it was only 1 night . I think if we had paid for an upgrade the room may have been better?"

"I was really pleasantly surprised by the hotel. It was tucked away in a quiet, very green area with a lovely view of the gardens and trees. We had our windows open to hear the birds all evening. I thought the style of the building was beautiful. Our room had lots of original features and the bathroom was really lovely. I have to say I was impressed with this stay. I’m not sure what I was expecting but it surpassed whatever that was. Easy to park, large comfortable and clean room and very pleasant staff. We didn’t get to use the facilities sadly as we had an appointment to attend but I went over to look around and they looked really inviting. I would definitely return if back up that way in future."

"A terrible hotel to stay at, would not recommend to anyone. My parents and I stayed here last winter and to say it is disgusting and rundown is an understatement. We were put in a room with a broken window that had black tape all around it (still managed to be broken), up above the dumpsters and car park so it was gross and noisy, the shower/bathroom had black mold EVERYWHERE, and the manager and cleaning staff did not care. We complained that night and the front desk staff apologized (he was very kind) and said they were fully booked for some conference and couldn't move rooms, and went to the back room to speak to the manager a few times and then finally said we would get a reduction on the price when we checked out. 30 minutes later he came to our door additionally offering free breakfast the next morning, so we accepted bc why not. The breakfast isn't work a pound, it was very bad. Then on checkout we speak to the manager - same manager that was working the night before and couldn't be bothered to come outside of her office and speak to us right then and there. Says there was a miscommunication and the breakfast was our compensation, and we wouldn't get a reduction because we paid through Expedia. Last I checked you got the money .... so you have the money to provide a refund .... Expedia doesn't hold onto the money indefinitely. Absolutely ridiculous behaviour from a manager, would have been solved if she'd bothered to do her job the night before. 0/10, would not stay."

"Absolutely loved our stay. It felt like having our own little house, which made it feel extra special and peaceful. The property was beautiful, well looked after, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The only minor issue was that the Wi-Fi was a little spotty, and with limited mobile signal in the area it could be frustrating at times. However, this didn't take away from what was otherwise a fantastic experience. We'd definitely recommend it and would love to return in the future."

"The room and bathroom were relatively clean. There was plenty of available, easy to use parking. I did however request the 2 rooms I had booked be next to each other. Even after receiving confirmation that they were, when I arrived, I found out they were not and the hotel said they could do nothing to help me."
