"We stayed in a room which was a lovely spot away from the main square. Square is lively (in a good natured way) so bear in mind if ypu like total peace and quiet. 5 min walk to city centre and 10 mins walk from train station. Worth pointing out that they close the gates around 8ish, so we arrived after that. There is an unmarked bell tucked away on the left hand side of the gate of the wall! "As an unexpected night stay in Aarhus with our day packs only, the hotel was able to provide us chargers for our phones and a toothbrush. They also tried to help with our situation with baggage. The hotel room was clean and quiet. The frosted glass bathroom and shower in the room was a little strange but for a couple it was OK. We didn't use the breakfast. The hotel location and cost was great. Close to the train station."

"This hotel nicely balances a classic feel with modern touches, and the location is perfect for exploring Aarhus over a few days. Staff are friendly and the rooms are well set up. My room didn't have much space to hang cloths, but the bathroom was spacious and the bed comfortable. The breakfast buffet is outstanding, and the snacks put out in the afternoon are a bonus. Highly recommended!"

"This was the best hotel I have ever been to, the breakfast was delicious, good range and vegan friendly (and gluten free options), everything labelled clearly. The hotel clearly values sustainability- food waste and general rubbish bins in the bedroom, plus recycling available outside the rooms. Comfy beds and sofa bed set up for us ahead of our arrival. Well equipped kitchen (fridge off on arrival, love the sustainability there!), and smart tv for chrome cast/airplay. Speaker in room. Good wifi. Lovely decor. Kind and helpful staff. Gym was small but well equipped and clean. Sauna was out of order but would be a lovely amenity in sure. Love it and will be back!!"

"Our room was dark, but very clean. I mentioned the darkness because I am visually impaired and it was hard to see in this room except for the bathroom which was well lit. This ‘corporate feeling hotel’ was quiet but we arrived on a Sunday. The breakfast was delicious; I had the best cinnamon bun of my life here. I am usually gluten-free so the hostess provided me with a gluten-free bun, which I appreciated. There were a lot of breakfast food options. We were here only briefly, one night. It didn’t seem like there was too much around but a train line."
