"I have stayed at this hotel a few times. The rooms are spacious and always very clean. I find the beds are very comfy. Always have a good night's sleep. Each time I have stayed here it has been very quiet at night, no noise from other residents which is nice. Staff are friendly and helpful. Good facilities to use. Nice restaurant and good food. I would highly recommend this hotel."

"We stayed in the main house as I had read poor reviews for the lodges. Our room overlooked the river and mill wheel which was lovely. The room was clean and tidy but the bathroom was a little dated."

"Room was spacious and amenities good. I found my room very hot. Even with the window open. Also, on check out we were advised there is a ‘discretionary’ payment for the maintenance and housekeeping staff per night that didn’t sit well with me. I think you should be pre warned that you will be asked to do this as it’s quite embarrassing saying no and feels awkward that you are asked to pay towards the staff. If I want to pay housekeeping I leave money in the room. "

"Parking was easy and secure not something you find that often so yes good. Staff was super happy,bar was great and well stocked being a pub owner myself it was lovely to see , definitely coming back "
