Hotels in Strasburg

After reading the reviews of all of the Effingham Hotels, we chose The Hampton Inn & Suites. The hotel was extremely clean, as was our room. The bed was very comfortable, the comforter and pillows were cozy and soft. The bathroom was nice sized with name brand toiletries available. Since this stay was during Covid, it was nice that guests and staff were wearing masks, and hand sanitizer was available at the main check-in desk, as well as, a small bottle in our room. Guest check in was easy and pleasant. Samantha waa great and even suggested a wonderful place for dinner. She was spot on. Room was beautiful and super clean. Comfy bed too. Breakfast was very good and one if the best I've had in a hotel in a long time. Thank you for a great stay!

Staff was friendly. Facility was decorated nicely for Christmas. Outside pet area was clean and had bags/trashcans available. All and all I nice stay.

The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The shower was large enought that you did not feel like a sardine in a can. The hotel is undier going renovations at present, but it was still clean and welcoming. The continental breakfast was one of the best we've experienced. I would recommend this location and this chain for sure.Effingham is a nice town too.

Excellent place to stay for the night

This hotel was very clean. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was good. The person at the check-in desk was not very friendly or helpful. However, this is a great hotel and i highly recommend staying here.

To the point. Stay here save your self looking for something else. Long answer: Brand new hotel. And it feels like it. Place is very clean. Staff are very nice and helpful. Breakfast was good. Through the coffee was weak. (Can’t win it all I suppose.) I did have an extra guest in my shower, but the little fellow was easily relocated. It’s a hotel it’s never going to be perfect. But I would absolutely plan any travels on the area so I could stay here at the end of the day.

Im for sure coming back next year!

This hotel is newly opened and still cleaning up the small details such as ice buckets and trash cans in the room. Jamie, the front desk person was excellent. She was very patient troubleshooting any issues.
