"Room was spotless, friendly staff, great choices on the buffet breakfast bar. My only reason for not giving 5 stars is the room was very warm overnight, and the windows in the room do not open and the air con was not responsive to my attempt to lower the temperature"

"I really love the Dakota as it has a lovely boutique feel, great lounge area to relax in. The rooms are very nice and stylish with plenty room and comfortable beds. The staff are very nice. My first choice when heading to Edinburgh, especially when visiting the outlets in Livingston. "

For the gluten free breakfast instead of substituting or increasing items to compensate the serving was half the size. "We stayed for 1 night . The room was very clean well appointed and quiet and overall very comfortable. We ate lunch dinner and breakfast which we had pre booked. Breakfast was excellent and great value for money. Lunch and dinner both delicious. All staff were very helpful and attentive and welcoming. We will definitely be back in tbe future. Key poiny for us was the overall value for money and pleasant and very helpful staff. Recommended. "
