Loved the fireplace, and used it often. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Only minor complaint is that the rooms are quite small. It was functional, but four adults in a two bedroom felt crowded."

"This is an exceptionally charming B/B. The views from the front parlors are breathtaking-we saw a number of sea otters and even a couple of sea lions. The location is perfect, right across the street from the beach! About a half mile from the Monterey Bay aquarium. The daily breakfasts: outstanding. Highly recommend!"

"Our stay at Pacific Gardens Inn was very nice and relaxing. The setting is beautiful and the ocean is a short hike. It is also a short drive to the Monterey Aquarium. A huge plus for EV owners are the two Charge Point charge stations on the property. We will definitely stay here again. "

"Recently, we had the pleasure of staying at the Centrella in Pacific Grove, CA. Its location is positioned well, with easy access to both Monterey and Carmel. I, am an early riser, so having access to their quiet dining area for an early morning, great cup of coffee, is just what the doctor ordered! Additionally, they played some of the best "Oldies", music that I have ever heard! The manager was very attentive and friendly, as were all of the staff. I will do research on the Kirkwood...

The office had a live feed of the Otter habitat from the Monterey Bay Aquarium which was a perfect touch. If you are looking to kick off an amazing Monterey weekend with a beautiful girl I would highly recommend Monterey Peninsula Inn and do yourself a favor and start at the hot tub!! ❤️"
