Staff was very welcoming and able to assist with any questions or recommendations. Simple restaurants and convenient stores nearby and only 4 train stops to main Kyoto station. Walking distance to imperial palace and Niko-jo castle. Room was spacious for Japanese standards and beds were very comfortable. Highly recommend."

"The host is very welcoming and enthusiastic to share places around. This is a traditional Japanese style living on tatami and Japanese futon along with a shared public bath. You will have the best rest sleeping on those futon in this quiet neighborhood. 7-11, Daiso, coin laundry and buses to major attractions are all within 5min of walk. "
