"Perfect stay for Kyoto. Immediately nice vibe in the lobby and the staff were helpful and friendly. There’s a subway right around the corner. Room comfortable and quiet, and the shower is the best we’ve had on this trip. Yes the rooms are small but that is universal for anywhere in Japan. Loved this hotel, would stay again. Appreciated the free bakery and juice/coffee items too, and the customisable water bottle! "

"Great location, including 7-11 on the street, very close to subway and walkable to places like Nijo Castle and Gion. Friendly and helpful staff and room big enough for 2 adults and 2 teenagers. Reasonable price for a hotel during Cherry Blossom season that ticked all of our boxes. "
