"Beautiful location with easy access to the ferry terminal. We were met by Gamal and brought across to the island on his boat. From the moment we met him Gamal went out of his way to ensure that we had everything we needed and more. We learnt much from him about the Nubian culture and people and we have great respect for him. We would lovee to return again. "Horrible experience. No power or even fan overnight. Shower broken. Not even enough bath tissue. One of the worst experiences in my 25 years of traveling. I would not stay here. I believe there is power cuts aka load shedding but overnight Stay with no ac or even fan in hot summer is a punishment. We messed up our vacation plan deprived of sleep"
