"Terrible bed that was 2 singles pushed together that kept coming apart , heard noise until after midnight from people downstairs and never got much sleep at all with these things happening "

"We noticed quality has dropped at Novotel Devonport. Light broken and couldn’t turn it off overnight and strong Asian cooking odour from restaurant that goes up to 3rd floor room through air conditioning vents. Toilet very low and no hold guard rail to help me get up. "

"This was one of the worst stays I have ever experienced. The place was extremely unhygienic and clearly not cleaned properly. Basic necessities like toilet paper were not even provided, which is completely unacceptable. Even public toilets are far cleaner and better maintained than this. The bed was dusty, the room was dirty, and the overall environment felt unsafe and uncomfortable. I actually became unwell during my stay, which I believe was due to the poor hygiene and lack of cleanliness. This experience was very disappointing. I would strongly advise others to avoid this place, and I will definitely never stay here again."

"Good meals at the hotel, room was clean but not ready at 1400 when we arrived staff were polite and apologetic for the room not been ready. Quiet place for just a relaxing time "

"We had a relaxing stay in a comfort room, I could see the staff took me into account by giving us the ground floor (I had mentioned I had a walking stick on the phone) I also noticed the room was great for those with a disability so it felt nice to be thought of and accommodated as I didn’t ask for this specifically. The only problem was some noisey young girls laughing in the corridors but other than that we had a pleasant stay."
