It's incredible that you can stay in such a place at a reasonable price. This whole hotel is an ex monastery that was converted to a hotel. The decorations and ambiance are exquisite. My room was probably one of the quietest places I've ever been in - maybe it's the legacy of the monastery.
Breakfast was great. Dinner was ok but not that special, so next time I would explore some other restaurant in the area - dinner was perfectly fine though.
This hotel is a little hidden gem. It is just outside the city. The surrounding area of the hotel is mainly commercial. The hotel has an adjoining bar and restaurant with really good food and with great pricing. The hotel staff is very helpful and professional. Rooms are very spacious. I would gladly book this hotel again.

The place is spectacular. The staff was very helpful. Could benefit from a good cleaning. The food was terrible. We have eaten some very nice meals in many paradores but here, no can do. Even the food in the cafeteria was mediocre. It is a pity bcs it is very convenient to be able to eat right there. Needs improvement.
it has an incredible view of the river and wineries, nice walkable trails,...a great "get away from it all". just note that you will not be able to park close to your room, so pack light!
The hotel boasts pools and spa, but both closed early in the evening and were occupied by a private group in the morning. The shower floods the bathroom floor (poor design, nothing was broken). Overall, everything was fine and comfortable, it just wasn’t as luxurious as I’d expected.
