"Lovely room with double bed for a good price. Included all amenities such as hairdryer, kettle, and adjustable A/C. Excellent on-suite shower room. Helpful staff - they even carried my luggage upstairs to my room when I came to drop it off before my check-in time. Handy for the station but there did not seem to be many restaurants etc nearby, a quiet area. Overall very happy"
"Lovely design hotel. Every detail was thoughtful and beautiful. Nice amenities. Excellent breakfast. Perfect jumping off point for the Nakasendo trail. (Unrelated to the hotel review but if you are traveling to Nakatsugawa for the first time, tip: book ahead at a restaurant/izakaya for dinner, there are plenty of nice places but many were fully reserved even in a quiet season for tourism) "
"Breakfast was fun;
Variety of typical Japanese dishes that also are very nutritious, hardly any artificial additives ( I thought,) and taste good. I had only Japanese dishes though. Cannot say anything about dessert cakes and breads.
Manu was changed daily. I could have stay some more days. Most importantly, the price was very reasonable. "
"Amazing. The finest hotel and nicest staff I have ever experienced. The views are spectacular. History is right outside the door, especially the Inuyama Castle and shrines. The restaurant is five star first rate and accommodated my son’s allergies seamlessly. We arrived after one of those days and they took care of us like family. "
