"Location was great to visit the Niece who is studying nearby and to head into Cardiff for the rugby. Public transport is well placed - a bus stop nearby took us into Pontypridd for parkrun and also the Trehafod train station for getting to Cardiff.
We are at the restaurant and the food was delicious and highly recommend.
Staff were welcoming and friendly. "

"I was going to visit the Brecon Mountain Railway and I needed somewhere close by to stay for the night. Luckily, I chose the Butchers Arms. The room was lovely and clean and the bed very comfortable. The food was filling and tasty and I had breakfast looking across to the start of the Brecon Beacons. The beer was wonderful especially the Butty Bach (little friend in Welsh). "
