"Low season so place was almost empty which is a shame. I had a brilliant stay, room was spotlessly clean and very roomy and comfy. Very cosy. Smashing meal (recommend the curries), nice chat with Abi the owner, smashing chap, nothing too much trouble, same for the staff. I’ll be staying again, highly recommended and wonderful value for money. Oh and don’t pay for parking like I did, it’s free!!"

"Sainsbury is just a short walk from the hotel and Bothams have opened a cafe just up the road. Bothams started as a bakery selling goods from a basket at the market, it has grown into a Whitby succes story and well worth a visit. It gets busy, because it is good. Whitby centre is a short drive away, but the parking is expensive, so a take a walk down the hill, it is only half an hour."

"We had a lovely two day break at the Buck. The staff were so kind and accommodating. The room was lovely, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. "Stayed for one night whilst touring around North Yorkshire. Whilst the place itself feels a little remote, it is within easy reach of the pretty villages & coastline. The room was clean, quiet & the food was good (had both an evening meal there & breakfast). Plenty of parking. Would definitely stay there again."

"Me and my partner stayed over in the Leven for just one night and were amazed by how gorgeous the room was. It was spotless, the bathroom was spacious and had both a bath and a shower and there was a kettle to make tea or coffee. The bed was incredibly comfortable and it was an overall lovely experience. The only downside was music being played into the night but that’s what you get for staying in a town on a Friday night I suppose so I don’t blame the hotel. The room definitely gave a cottage-y...

"A fabulous place to stay to explore Whitby, explore the area and coastal walks. Facilities clean and tidy, great on-site cafe and the local town is walkable, albeit uphill on the return. And superb views of Whitby Abbey on the YHA doorstep. "
