The breakfast was next level- everything you could want after a morning hike up the schlangenweg or up to the Schloss. Or both. I recommend you do both, one at sunset and one at sunrise 🌄🌅 the TV didn't work so well, but ee didn't care because Heidelberg is entertaining enough!"

"We had the room on the top (5th floor). It had a huge bathroom with a great deep tub (plus a big shower). The room, which was a very spacious, had beautiful exposed beams. It was charming (more so than the other units of the property, which were also nice, just not as charming) and really nicely situated in Heidelberg, two blocks or so from the castle and Christmas markets. If I am ever in Heidelberg again I would certainly stay there! The only downside is there is no elevator and the steps up...

"Great location! Very friendly mostly German speaking staff. Breakfast is good for 17.5Euro/person, checkout easy. Has small elevator (but 3 then 2 stairs at entry for our stroller). Would be nice to have a communal hangout space, coffee machine (at lobby or room), facecloths provided, squeegee for the water then gets on bathroom floor from shower, later reception."
